Why is there something here where there should be
nothing?
Why is there nothing here where there should be
something?
The eerie movement of my bedroom curtains at night or the outline of a dark figure looming in the corner are things both disturbing and exciting. The subtle breath of a performer, human or not,
evokes a sense of unease. The hidden agency of the curtain remain a mysterious yet intimate and domestic object. The domestic object is as much an intimate refuge as it is cause for anxiety. The elusive shape of a human figure embedded in the folds of a curtain is as uncomfortable as it is alluring.
