The Giant
2022, durational performance
This performance features a symbiosis between a human and a chair. A soft and flowery armchair stands in the room with a performer enclosed in it's fabric. Upon closer investigation, the pattern on the chair is eerily reminiscent of flesh and scarred tissue. As they breathe together they merge into on being. The performer in blood red furs sink slowly into the chair while her breath fills the room creating a meditative but unsettling ambience.
