Tears of Memory
sculptural installation, 2021
Cloaked under a
grey layer of fur, the objects of a children’s room turn into strange creature-like objects. A furry pet seems to be embedded within a chair, preventing you
from fully enjoying the inviting nature of the soft and hairy chair. There is something
breathing underneath that remains an alien entity.
An eerie landscape
in which childhood memories and trinkets intertwine in hairy constellations. As we
grow, the objects we grew up with grow along with us and leave their mark on us.
Objects that leave traces of the things around us seething with life.
